Let’s talk web design 🙌
Over the last week or so, we have talked a lot about Facebook Ads
I want to get back to basics this week and get you set up with your own website
Then having the website do what it is meant to do… DELIVER LEADS
So, let’s get into part 1 of this 6 part series.
👉 PS… All of this training is delivered in a step by step guide on The FitPro Portal 👈
Before starting with a website, we need to have a domain and hosting in place
A domain is the website name: www.yourwebsitename.com
The hosting is where the website lives for example in the cloud
I use a company called one.com
They do all of this and provide you with a business email too: email@example.com
Once you have all this sorted we can then move ahead with deciding on how we are going to build the website
Setting up a domain and hosting, should’nt be costing you a fortune. The company we recommend one.com charge something like £20 for the year
The biggest things to consider is the URL, the name of your website
Because you don’t want to build your site, get all the marketing material done and then not like the name
A few other things to consider are not having a super long name
For example, if I was to get a domain using my full name and PT at the end it would be massive:
People would just struggle to type this in, you want to keep it simple and short
Something I wish I knew when I started too was having numbers in the name
I have to tell people all the time that DKnine if spelt DKnine and not DK9
So that’s it for today, get the domain and hosting set up and tomorrow we can start building 🙌
Of if you would prefer simply video guidance and support to set it all up
